What do you reckon about this lot?
We spotted this Nissan Navara 4×4 parked off the road in Sydney’s Parramatta the other day.
The aftermarket canopy adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the conservatively styled Navara, don’t you think?.
Not sure if the Navara benefits from the “upgrade” but beauty as they say is in the eye of the beholder.
They seem to be going for a GT-R look with the twin tail lights (not sure whether they’re functional or just reflectors).
A little investigation reveals the canopy and others like it are the work of the Ute Canopy Co. based in leafy Gordon on the North Shore.
“At the Ute Canopy Co. we believe in function and style,” the blurb says.
“The right canopy choice can be 100 per cent functional while also greatly enhancing the look of your vehicle . . .”
It’s not our cup of tea but could appeal to some people.
Reading further reveals the canopies are actually imported from Europe.
One thing is for sure, you’re ute is guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.
